Dubai Shopping Festival 2011 ( 20 January – 20 February 2011)

The dates of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2011 has been announced. The annual DSF 2011 will commence from 20 January 2011 and its closing ceremony will be held on 20 February 2011. The 32-day long shopping event will attract millions of bargain hunters from across the globe who will win millions of DH in prizes in daily draws. Tourists can enjoy tax free shopping as well as heavy discounts on a wide range of items including jewelry, cars, perfumes, textiles, handicrafts and electronics items as shops and malls try to outdo each other in sells. on arrival in Christchurch, 'The Garden City', you will be welcomed and your Vacation begins.

Day 2: Christchurch - Queenstown (B)
Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo. Continue south to the small town of Twizel before traveling through the historic Central Otago region to Lake Wakatipu and the 'Alpine Resort' of Queenstown.

Day 3: Milford Sound (B)
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglington Valley and travel through the breath taking man-made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown.

Day 4: Queenstown (B) An opportunity today to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungee jumping, jet boating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price. 

Day 5: Queenstown-Mt Cook-Christchurch (B)Travel through the Central Otago region to Mt Cook, or as known in Maori "Aorangi", the cloud pierces. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before traveling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch.
